It’s time to do the ECAN. with great success in 2023, we’re back for 2024 running – the race structure, rules, and registration is run by AMO.

ECAN Race Registration is via LIVLAPS (no membership is required for this event, just a free Livelaps account)

ECAN RULBOOK is the 2024 Walton Grand National TransCan Rule Book which can be found here: Amateur Rulebook — Walton TransCan

There are two differences:
***The ECAN Number system is open. Class colour doesn’t matter as long as the number on the bike is readable*****

*** The ECAN Will also not adopt the New practice rule in effect at TransCan****

****The schedule will change on entry amounts in certain classes. This will be done Wednesday evening after check-in if necessary.****

PRE-REGISTRATIONS END ON SATURDAY JULY 20 th AT 11:59 PM

With pre-registration, the savings are HUGE for practice each day you arrive. Look at each day’s social calendar below.

Register before 11:59 PM on July 20  and get the following discounts:

  • Saturday and Sunday, July 22-23: Practices at 50% off.
  • Monday July 22: Free FXR ride day for all.
  • Tuesday, July 23: 50% off your practice presented by ADM SPORT.
  • Wednesday, July 24: Get $10 off practice day, presented by MOTOSPORT 4-SAISONS KTM

On the property, each day you wish to practice you will check in at the main building located in the middle of the property by the bicycle track (you can’t miss it, it’s BIG)

IMPORTANT: Every Racer must check in at the MAIN BUILDING from 2-6 pm on Tuesday or Wednesday before racing Thursday. IF YOU DO NOT CHECK IN OR REGISTER YOU DO NOT RACE!!

  • YOU MUST BRING YOUR RACE BIKE FRAME NUMBER TO REGISTER AT THIS TIME
  • THIS IS ALSO WHERE YOU WILL GET YOUR MECHANICS PASS

If you do not pre-register you can register during these times on the property but with a late charge added of $10 per class.

TRANSPONDERS ARE REQUIRED TO BE SCORED.

YOU MAY RESERVE A TRANSPONDER RENTAL BY E-TRANSFERING $50 TO AMORACINGRELOADED@GMAIL.COM WITH THE INFO: BIKE #, NAME, RACE DATE/LOCATION, AND CLASS IN THE TRANSFER DESCRIPTION. Screenshot or save the transaction for extra backup when you arrive to get the transponder It can be picked up between those times below.

Saturday July 20

  • 8:00 a.m.: Opening of the site to the general public and for riders and companions participating in the ECAN.
  • 11 a.m.-4 p.m.: Motocross Deschambault practices, those who are pre-registered for the ECAN get 50% off.
  • 10:00 p.m.: Gates close.
  • 11:00 p.m.: Curfew, generators shut down.

Sunday July 21

  • 8:00 a.m.: Opening of the site for riders and companions participating in the ECAN and race teams for the National MX Tour.
  • 11 a.m.-4 p.m.: Motocross Deschambault practices, those who are pre-registered for the ECAN get 50% off.
  • 10:00 p.m.: Gates close.
  • 11:00 p.m.: Curfew, generators shut down.

Monday July 22

  • 7:00 am: Opening of the site.
  • 9:00 a.m.: Opening of the reception desk for practice registration.
  • 11am-3pm: Practices open to the public, MD Distributions and Technikem invites all people pre-registered for ECAN to ride for FREE. Come meet professional MD Distributions and Technikem pilots and practice with them.
  • 5-7pm: Happy Hour presented by MD Distributions and Technikem on the terrace. Music, campfire, and FREE corn roast !
  • 10:00 p.m.: Gates close.
  • 11:00 p.m.: Curfew, generators shut down.

Tuesday, July 23

  • 6:00 am: Opening of the site.
  • 9:00 a.m.: Opening of the reception desk for practice registration. Get 50% off your registration if you are pre-registered at ECAN. Presented by ADM SPORT !
  • 11am-3pm: Practices open to the public.
  • 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.: ECAN registration for the AMO trailer.
  • 4-6 p.m. ELECTRIC EVENING. Demo of electric bicycles and motorcycles.
  • 7-9 p.m. PIT-BIKE, TALARIA, EBIKE and STACYC RACES.
  • 10:00 p.m.: Gates close.
  • 11:00 p.m.: Curfew, generators shut down.

Wednesday, July 24

  • 6:00 a.m.: Opening of the site
  • 8:00 a.m.: Opening of the Pro Shop and registration for free practices at the rate of $45 large track and $25 small track. Get 10$ off if you are pre-registered at ECAN, presented by MOTOSPORT 4-SAISON KTM
  • 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: ECAN Practice
  • 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.: ECAN registration for the AMO trailer.
  • 6-7pm: ECAN Opening Party at the podium !
  • 7-9pm: WESTERN EVENING. The beast against the machine! Who will be the winner? (Wear your cowboy hats all day !)
  • 10:00 p.m.: Gates close.
  • 11:00 p.m.: Curfew, generators shut down.

Thursday July 25

  • 6:00 a.m.: Opening of the site.
  • 7:30 a.m.: Start of the ECAN races. See schedule for the day
  • 5:00 p.m.: End of races.
  • 7-9pm: HOLESHOT CHALLENGE FOX
  • 10:00 p.m.: Gates close.
  • 11:00 p.m.: Curfew, generators shut down.

Friday July 26

  • 6:00 a.m.: Opening of the site.
  • 7:30 a.m.: Start of the ECAN races. See schedule for the day
  • 5:00 p.m.: End of races.
  • 7-9pm: STRAIGHT RHYTHM RACE. Registration (FREE) for the Straight Rhythm at the Pro Shop (super mini/inter/pro class) with scholarships.
  • 10:00 p.m.: Gates close.
  • 11:00 p.m.: Curfew, generators shut down.

Saturday July 27

  • 6:00 a.m.: Opening of the site.
  • 7:30 a.m.: Start of the ECAN races. See schedule for the day
  • 5:00 p.m.: End of races.
  • 7:00 p.m.: Presentation of trophies and awards on the podium to the first 10 of each class with music.
  • 10:00 p.m.: Gates close.
  • 11:00 p.m.: Curfew, generators shut down.

Sunday July 28

  • 6:00 a.m.: Opening of the site
  • 8h00  : PRO NATIONAL
  • 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: FREE Electric motorcycles trials on a new track designed for children from 4 years old.
  • 12:50 p.m.: Presentation of the JSR trophy
  • 2:00 p.m.: Presentation of the Yamaha bLU/cRU competition motorcycle
  • 4:00 p.m.: Presentation of the Fred Laflamme Courage Trophy
