How it works:  You may register yourself and additional riders below. No more than five people will be permitted per vehicle.  All racers must be registered and sign waivers – minor or adult,  and all persons coming to the event must sign waivers.  here 

TO REGISTER FOR THE RACE IS DOWN BELOW.

Everyone in your group must not leave your pit area unless they are practicing/racing, watching their rider practice/race, or using the portable washrooms.  You must maintain 6 feet of distancing between yourself and all other attendees not in your group at all times. Failure to abide by these rules may result in eviction from the property without a refund at the discretion of the facility staff.

Vehicles attempting to enter onto the property without a rider registered will not be permitted to enter.  All registration must be completed and waivers signed prior to arriving at the facility.  HERE 

WAIVERS:  YOU WILL RECEIVE THE LINK FOR YOUR WAIVERS IN YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL AFTER COMPLETING YOUR REGISTRATION.  YOU WILL NEED TO DIGITALLY SIGN TO COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION.  PERSONS WITH YOU MUST COMPLETE A WAIVER AS WELL. AT THIS TIME YOU MUST FILL OUT A WAIVER FOR EACH EVENT. YOU CAN SIGN WAIVERS PRIOR TO REGISTERING.

With phase 1 taking place on May 19th, 2020, and the classification of motocross racing stated within, it’s time to get back to racing. As a racer/family participating in the event, you readily volunteer to understand, follow, and respect the guidelines put forth by the promotion group running the races. The rules/guidelines set forth below are meant to be taken very seriously with the COVID-19 virus changing our planet in every way, forever. Our community is no different and we must prioritize and abide by the guidelines to diminish the risk to you, other racers, families, and staff.

Below you will find a step by step process for all to follow very closely. 

Waivers:

Every person (no exceptions) entering the property must sign waivers: racers, family, flaggers, medics, staff, etc. WAIVER HERE

Overnight Parking:

Gopher Sept 20th

  • Overnight parking will only be available for those in self-contained camper trailers or RV’s. $20 for regular spot or $30 in camping section (first come first serve)
  • Tent camping is not allowed
  • no groups larger than 5 will be permitted to stay in one camper
  • Only those who arrived in a camper will be permitted to stay in that camper overnight 
  • All vehicles entering the property will be parked by parking staff.
  • No water will be supplied. You must bring your own water in your own self contained water supply 
  • Bonfires are not permitted. No evening social gatherings.
  • Gates close at 8:30 pm on Saturday. No exceptions, if you arrive after 8:30 pm you will not be able to enter the property and parking alongside the road is not permitted. Gates re-open at 7 am Sunday morning.
  • The gate will close again at 9 am 
  • Unless your racer is is on the track, stick to your own pit area

Saturday Practice:

Practice will be held each Saturday prior to the race and run by the track. Gopher is 10:30-4pm at $30 per rider. It will have groupings to maintain the number of riders on the track.

Gate Entrance:

Cash will be allowed but only the correct/exact amount ($10 per person 9+, 8 and under free). There will be no change from AMO. Gate staff will wear a mask. If you don’t have a bike in your vehicle you will not be permitted to enter.

Spectators:

NONE ARE ALLOWED. We must keep the minimum amount of people on the property. No unnecessary people are allowed to be part of the riders/racers entourage. PLEASE do your best to bring just people/family/supporter that is needed. A limit of 5 total including racer will be permitted. This group must stay in their pits unless watching their racer during the day.

Parking:

ALL VEHICLES must be 30-feet apart, minimum, in pits. All camping trailers must NOT have awnings facing each other. This follows all social distancing protocols.

  • For Gopher Dunes: Vehicles will be parked 30Ft from each other
  • If you bring an EZ up it MUST go behind trailer instead of the side
  • There are garbage bins on site. Please ensure your garbage goes in there or take it home.

Sign–in Trailer:

Updated: The trailer will open 3-5pm Saturday and at 7:30 AM and Close at 8:30 AM Sunday for transponder rentals or class swaps/changes only. $30 each FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!

Riders Meeting:

There will be no riders meeting but rather it will be announced over speakers and through a dedicated radio channel. That info will be released Sunday morning at the event through social media and over mic, also.

Staging/Start Gate:

One person/mechanic per rider. All mechanics must wear a mask. If this is not followed, you will forfeit your racer’s gate pick. No excuses. Staging person/gate dropper will also wear a mask.

Awards:

Unfortunately, due to the current restrictions, there will be no awards ceremony for tyke or the 50cc classes. Plaques for classes that get them will be held until a later date when restrictions become less serious.

All payback classes will be EMT (email transferred) to the racer that earns the amount.

Results Board:

Results as normal will be posted but a distance of 2 meters between viewers must be followed if there is one person at the board already. If there is an issue with scoring you must come to the sign-in trailer at the rear door, not the side door, following the 2-meters social distancing protocols.

Garbage: 

No bins on site. Bring a bag and bring your garbage home with you.

Your Pits:

You’re responsible for your pit area and your gathering. Do not take advantage of the effort being put in to go back racing.

Security:

More people will be on-site roaming around ensuring people are following social distancing measures outside of their pits. Treat these people with respect and if they ask you do break apart or move along, then please obey them.
