This new addition to AMO for members only is a chance to hear your voice, understand who you are, and focus on the 2021 race plan. In a sense, each AMO member is a sponsor of what AMO does. We’re constantly trying to find more support, find sponsors, money, prizes, and whatever I can to enhance the experience for the member. By doing that we sometimes forget the member is the biggest supporter.

Without racers and the families that support them, AMO, facilities/tracks, shops, manufacturers, and more wouldn’t be able to survive. So this FOCUS idea is for the member to just share some fun, answer some questions, promote their sponsors, and allow all of us to get a little more personalized to each AMO member.

Thank you to each member as we head into the 2021 season.

My number is 753 and I ride a 2020 Honda CRF450R.

3. What are your goals for 2021 in the AMO Series?

My goal this year, racing the AMO Series, is to meet new people, have fun racing and get a top 3 finish in my class at least once.

4. Who is your favorite Canadian Racer?

My favourite Canadian Racer of all time would be Jean Sebastien Roy. When I was growing up he was somebody I really looked up to as a racer and was an all-around nice guy.

5. If you found a wallet at the track with $100 inside what would you do with it?

If I ever found a wallet with $100 inside it at the track. I would try to return it to its rightful owner or turn it into the event organizers. I believe in karma and in the motocross community, good karma goes a long way.

6. What is your favorite AMO track or any other track?

My favourite AMO track is Motopark. Its super fun and flowy and always makes for a great day of riding

7. Have you ever raced the Walton Transcan Grand National championship? If yes, how did it go and how was your experience?

I have never raced a Walton Transcan Grand Nation championship.

8. How many in your family race?

Currently, I am the only one in my family racing. However, I grew up watching my uncle, Steve Gosselin, race in the CMRC Pro ATV class and the CMRC 250 Intermediate class. Also, my father, Ken Fasken, raced the Canadian Superbike Series when I was younger. I also have a 2-year-old son and I can’t wait to get on a bike!

9. If there was one thing you could change about the sport of motocross, what would that be?

If there was one thing I would change about the sport of motocross it would be that the locals would be more accepting and supportive of local tracks. The closest public track to where I live is an hour away now. Although that isn’t super far away, I remember as a kid having 4 or 5 tracks within 20 minutes of Peterborough.

10. Who are your 2021 sponsors?

I currently have no sponsors for the 2021 season.
