AMO – Focus: Blake Patterson AMO Racing March 31, 2021 Racing This new addition to AMO for members only is a chance to hear your voice, understand who you are, and focus on the 2021 race plan. In a sense, each AMO member is a sponsor of what AMO does. We’re constantly trying to find more support, find sponsors, money, prizes, and whatever I can to enhance the experience for the member. By doing that we sometimes forget the member is the biggest supporter. Without racers and the families that support them, AMO, facilities/tracks, shops, manufacturers, and more wouldn’t be able to survive. So this FOCUS idea is for the member to just share some fun, answer some questions, promote their sponsors, and allow all of us to get a little more personalized to each AMO member. What bike do you race and what’s your race #? Husqvarna 85 #105 3. What are your goals for 2021 in the AMO Series? To be top 5 in the 85 7-11 class. 4. Who is your favorite Canadian Racer? Pro class Sam Gaynor and Dario Zecca, Amateur Jim Scott! 5. If you found a wallet at the track with $100 inside what would you do with it? I would look in it for the name of the owner and if I knew the person I would try to find them, if I didn’t I would have my mom and dad help them take it to the amo trailer 6. What is your favorite AMO track or any other track? Amo track: motopark. Non Amo: Burnt River 7. Have you ever raced the Walton Transcan Grand National championship? If yes, how did it go and how was your experience? Yes once on 50s and once on 65s .. the first year I was afraid to podium and to talk to Ryan on stage so I pulled over to let 4th place ahead of me, and on my 65 I had bike issues and pushed my bike across the finish line but every year good or bad I have so much fun. 8. How many in your family race? Just me, my dad used to race when he was little 9. If there was one thing you could change about the sport of motocross, what would that be? Have 85 B class (GP) just cause I grew too much and need to bump up and not sure I am ready for super mini 10. Who are your 2021 sponsors?
