AMO/MMRS Report from RD1 SWO and Eastern ANQ AMO Racing April 18, 2017 Racing Randy Wiebe and Zach Burke Photos It feels so good to get the first gate drop of 2017 out of the way. Gopher Dunes was the setting for the first South Western and Eastern Ontario Amateur National Qualifier and as always it was rough, tough and endless with sand. The 2017 look to be one that will showcase amazing Ontario and Canadian talent in motocross. With AMO being the feeder system for the 2017 AX Canada AX Tour as well the launching of the 2018 MX, AX, and SX Open from Jetwerx we saw some amazing talent that will be filling the pro gate in the coming years. Right from the 460 50cc class all the way up to the 45+ smiles were endless and the sense of to something special was in the air. The day started at 8 AM and ended at 5 PM with 365 entries blowing sand everywhere possible. Our next event is this weekend at Cochrane’s for an MX School as well Flagger school to gain the experience on both ends to be better. Following that, we will be at Motopark April 29/30 for SWO ANQ#2 and Cochrane’s for Eastern ANQ#2. Your Options are endless with AMO/MMRs in 2017. Thanks again to all our amazing supporters.
